What the fuck. How are we already more than halfway through the decade. Oh god, I hate acknowledging the passage of time...
Existential agonizing aside, yes, it is indeed 2026. You probably didn't need me to tell you that, but it's true! And what better way to start my New Year...than by catching a cold. Yes, unfortunately my body decided it wanted to be sick for the start of the new year, because it feels like anything remotely positive happening to me should have at LEAST one caveat attached to it. A shame too, because there was a meetup planned for today at Cidercade by a dating website I signed up for, that I now have to stay home from. I understand that it's still a good idea to stay home, I don't want to potentially get anyone sick after all, but I'm still at least a little miffed about it.
But, what do I have in store for the future? I dunno. I plan to work on this website more often this year. I have a review of Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers in the works, which should hopefully be out sometime soon provided I can properly get my ass in gear. Maybe a blog post talking about some of the games I played in 2025, or possibly a post detailing my journey into console modding, who knows? Either way, anything that gets this website looking more like how I want it to can only be a good thing.
Sorry if this blog post is a bit small, I just mainly wanted to make sure y'all weren't left in the dark on what I've been up to recently in regards to here. I look forward to hopefully posting more in the future.
